Lianne Hirano, MD completed a clinical Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at the University of Washington and completed a year of research at the VA Hospital in Seattle, WA, investigating the identification and treatment of elderly veterans at high risk for osteoporosis. She is an attending on Geriatric Medicine, General Medicine, and the Palliative Care Service. She is currently the associate medical director of the Harborview Palliative Care Service and the associate program director of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program.
